I MUST SAY THE MOST MEMORABLE PHONE CALL I HAVE EVER HAD.... MY GIRL FRIEND TOLD ME I WOULD BE RECEIVING A PHONE CALL FROM SOMEONE BUT DID NOT TELL ME WHO IT WAS.. SO WE WERE SITTING IN A RESTAURANT IN MANHATTAN HAVING SOME COCKTAILS AND SHE KEPT ASKING ME WHERE IS YOUR PHONE MAKE SURE ITS ON OVER AND OVER AGAIN..... . WELL LOW AND BEHOLD WE WAS ALL SITTIN UP IN THERE EATIN SOME SHRIMPS WITH SOME COLLARD GREENS AND MY PHONE STARTED RINGING I ANSWERED AND ALL I HEARD WAS ANNA LISA HOW UR DURRIN?? I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT I WAS IN A STATE A SHOCK AND I LAUGHED SO HARD I ALMOST PEED MY PANTS... SO I WENT DOWN TO THE LOWER LEVEL IN FRONT OF THE REST ROOMS AND WAS DOUBLED OVER A FEW TIMES CAUSE I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD... SHE ASKED ME IF THE ENGAGEMENT RING I GOT THAT NIGHT CAME FROM THE WALMARK.. . VERY PERSONABLE.. HYSTERICAL! AND MEMORABLE AS WE WERE ENGAGED THAT NIGHT IT WAS THE GREATEST BIRTHDAY I HAVE EVER HAD!! THANK YOU SHIRLEY Q........THANK YOU NANCY LOVE.....

Well, my ignunt daughter and my bulldagga sister conspired to have Shirley call me on my 55th birthday and it was truly the best present I ever received. I laughed and cried all day just thinking of all the funny things she said and how touched I was by her call. It was the best and I will never, ever forget it. I can't wait for her to come to Atlanta, where the party is at, so we can get crunk and drunk.

He received his Kwanzaa phone call on Sunday, and as it was the last time Mrs. Liquor called, it far exceeded our expectations. Shirley is so personable, and she also took the time to say a few things to his son, who is an active Marine just returning from overseas. I, too, owe Shirley a drink.....so Shirley, the next time you is in New Orleans, give me a call and I'll buy you and Watusi a bottle of Ripple.

I have known of Shirley Q for many years. She has made 3 or 4 different birthday phone calls to my immediate family. Starting with my dad on his 75th birthday, and to this day it is the only gift he still talks about. That is many years and gifts but Shirley's phone call ranks #1. This is the ultimate gift for any occasion and you couldn't spend your money in a better way.

Best Money We Ever Spent	January 5, 2007

We have ordered and received two Shirley Q. phone calls over the last year (and we are getting ready to order our third).

The first was to a friend on his birthday in March. He laughed so hard he cried! (And he said it was the best present he ever got.)

The second call was even more special because it was for a friend getting ready to go into the hospital for back surgery. We knew she loved Miss Shirley and we also knew she was terrified about the surgery. Shirley called the night before she was to go into the hospital and our friend laughed and laughed! Even now when someone asks her surgery went, all she talks about was the phone call she got the night before.

Both calls were so personal. Shirley really does incorporate tons of details about the person she's calling - like she's known them for years. We were devoted fans before, but now we feel like personal friends!

How ya durrin?

Well, until last night, I thought the thirty dollars I spent to rent a tiller to till up some horrible St. Augustine grass was the best money I have spent in a long time. Now I know it was nothing compared to the purchase of the birthday phone call from Shirley for Miss Gloria. I mean to tell you, it was HYSTERICAL. We were all in tears! From the look on her face when she realized that this HAD to really be Shirley Q. Liquor to the very personalized conversation, well I cannot say anything other than it was PRICELESS. She called this morning to say it was the best gift anyone had EVER given her. Thank you again for accommodating me on such short notice.

I have to say, you did it up right. Any celebrity could make a personal call, but the fact that you took the time to inquire about the recipients personality, and incorporate it into the conversation really made it special.

Your call last night made one person the happiest girl on the planet!
